Our Three-Stage Design Process

1. Schematic Design: Exploring Concepts & Site Integration.
We begin by analyzing your site and translating your vision into initial spatial concepts. Through quick sketches, spatial diagrams, and site orientation studies, we explore how the building interacts with its environment. This phase is all about brainstorming, testing multiple ideas, and establishing the overall direction and flow of the project.

2. Design Development: Refining Details & Materiality.
Once the overarching concept is locked in, we dive into the details. During Design Development, we refine spatial dimensions, select materials, establish structural logic, and integrate key systems. Crucially, we re-evaluate the project budget during this stage to ensure our material choices and design details align with your financial goals before moving forward. Through continuous iteration, we hone the aesthetic and practical choices without losing sight of scope and cost.

3. Construction Documentation: Translating Design into Buildable Plans.
In the final phase, design ideas become precise technical instructions. We produce a comprehensive set of detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents required for permitting, accurate final pricing, and seamless execution on site. Every dimension and callout ensures the original design vision is built exactly as intended.
